About the PCN

Kenilworth and Warwick PCN

Kenilworth and Warwick PCN was formed in 2019 and consists of 63,500 patients, which are spread across five practices; Abbey Medical Centre, Avonside Health Centre, Castle Medical Centre, Chase Meadow Health Centre, Priory Medical Centre.

The PCN staff work between all the practices, allowing greater flexibility and versatility to the network, utilising staff allocation in-line with clinical needs.

What is a PCN?

A Primary Care Network (PCN) in the NHS is a group of general practices working together to provide integrated, high-quality healthcare services to local communities.

By collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals, PCNs aim to improve patient outcomes through personalised, accessible care, early intervention and efficient resource use.

The networks focus on addressing the specific health needs of local populations, reducing pressures on individual practices and hospitals, and supporting GPs with additional resources.
